One of our biggest goals this year has been finding meaningful ways to support and inspire our Senior children. It’s a challenge shared by many OSHC services—our older students often feel unstimulated or unsure of where they fit. But this year, something wonderful happened.
We created a dedicated Seniors-only space in the undercover garden and eating area, and it has quickly become a highlight of our program. Giving our Seniors a place to call their own—and genuine responsibility over it—has made all the difference.
They’ve taken full ownership of the area, designing their own bag spot, decorating with chalk hopscotch and handball courts, and transforming it into a space they truly love. To celebrate, they even hosted their own “party,” complete with music, games, and plenty of laughter.
This initiative has not only boosted engagement, but also strengthened their sense of belonging, leadership, and pride. We’re excited to continue building on this success and creating even more opportunities for our Seniors to shine.

Bookings for next year are now open, and we want to make the process as simple as possible for everyone.
Important: Parents do not need to re-enrol their children. Enrolments are already in place and manage your account information — you only need to confirm your child’s days and sessions (before and/or after school) for 2026.
To make a booking for next year:
We ask that all bookings for 2026 are confirmed as soon as possible to secure your child’s place and ensure a smooth start to the year.
Thank you for helping us keep our system simple and efficient — we can’t wait for another great year at OSHC!
We are excited to share that our OSHC Art Gallery is happening soon! The middle room will be transformed into a bright and creative exhibition space showcasing the wonderful artwork created by the children.
The OSHC Art Gallery will open on Monday, 8th December, and will run until Friday, 12th December. Families are warmly invited to come in, enjoy the displays, and celebrate the children’s creativity.
We are also hosting a special Official Gallery Night on Thursday, 11th December, where families can enjoy some fruit and kombucha as we celebrate the children's amazing artwork together.
We can’t wait to share this colourful and inspiring event with you!
We’re excited to share that Tumbling with Tara is back again this week! If you’d like your child to join in, please make sure they are booked into After School Care on Wednesdays.
The children have been absolutely loving Tara’s acro sessions — they are fun, energetic, and a wonderful way to build confidence, strength, and coordination. We are incredibly grateful to have such a special adult in our lives and in the children’s lives. Tara makes a huge difference, and we truly appreciate the joy and care she brings to our program.
We can’t wait to see all the flips, jumps, and big smiles returning this week!
When: Every Wednesday, 4:00–5:00pm
