Regional Boys Netball Invitational

Thursday, 13 November was the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Boys Netball Invitational. This is a new EMR event in its third year created to promote the exposure of boys to the sport of netball. Park Ridge entered the maximum 3 teams in the A, B and C division. The boys enjoyed a great day with a real carnival atmosphere featuring plenty of netball matches. It was great to see the boys out there enjoying a sport that would normally not be a first choice sport for them. It was a successful day on the court with our B team winning their division and our A and C team finishing runner-up. Shout out also to Zane F who won the Best and Fairest medal for the A division! Thank you to Carly for coaching the team and our work experience students Stevie, Maddy and Hunter for coaching the B team.
