Foundation Incursion ✨

Our Foundation students took part in an exciting incursion last week where they worked in teams to create ride-on Billy Carts. Throughout the session, students worked in small groups to plan, design, and help construct a cart using real tools and materials. The hands-on nature of the workshop encouraged curiosity, creativity, and active learning.
This incursion provided a wonderful opportunity for students to strengthen their teamwork and communication skills. They discussed design ideas, negotiated roles, and supported each other to complete each stage of the build. When challenges arose, students were encouraged to use problem-solving strategies such as trial and error and revising their ideas.
This experience not only sparked engagement but also helped our students build on their resilience and team work skills to support them as they transition into Grade 1. We were proud to see students showing resilience, enthusiasm, and pride in their work.
We just wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate each of our Foundation students for the most wonderful first year of schooling - we thank our parent community for working alongside us throughout this special year. 💫
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas with your families and a safe holiday break. 🎄⭐️
