 Sharing The Planet 

This term as part of our Unit of Inquiry Sharing the Planet, the Year 1 students have explored animal habitats including the polar, grassland, forest, fresh water, ocean and desert regions of the world. 

They have investigated the differing range of needs, integral for animals to survive, including food, adaptations, shelter and predators. During a seven-week period, They were given a range of questions to research on their chosen animal, utilising their research skills to locate the answers both in books and online. They were then asked to present their findings in poster form, before giving a short oral presentation to the class, sharing their knowledge about their researched animal with their peers. 

The year 1 teachers are so proud of the effort each student has put into completing this research task and have been blow away by the outstanding posters they all produced.
