Welcome to the 2026 School Year. Term One is always incredibly busy, providing a multitude enriching experiences and opportunities for our students to grow, learn, and engage.
Student Engagement and Mental Health Awareness:
Our Year 8s and 10s will once again undertake the Teen Mental Health first aid training. This is such valuable learning for our students in their support for one another.
Sports and Co-curricular Activities:
Our sports and co-curricular program is back in full swing, with rowing and cricket already well underway and students preparing for Swimming and Athletics.
Upcoming Events:
The much-anticipated House Swimming Carnival is next Thursday, 12 February. We look forward to celebrating our students' academic achievements at the 2026 Scholars' Assembly on Monday, 16 February. House Athletics is set for Friday, 6 March.
Special Experiences for Year Levels:
Our Year 12 students embarked on a memorable three-day retreat at Deakin University, marking the beginning of a transformative year ahead. Meanwhile, our Year 7s have started very positively, and they are looking forward to their High Ropes Day on 17 February, Year 8 has the YOLO Day surfing in Port Fairy on 24 February, and the Year 9 Experience begins on 23 February with the cohorts' first camp at the Outside Inn. We can't forget that towards the end of term, we have 22 students heading to France to participate in the European Language, Culture and Art Tour.
Celebrating Student Engagement:
We are incredibly proud of all our students for their enthusiasm and willingness to make the most of the diverse learning opportunities presented to them. Their engagement and curiosity has been visible in week one. We look forward to seeing their continued achievements throughout the year.
