Highlighting students who are achieving great things in the community

Xavier Collins

We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of Xavier, who has proudly represented Australia in both pool and open water competitions over the past month.

At the Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Canberra, Xavier showcased his talent by setting personal best times in the 50m and 100m freestyle. He won the gold medal in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay with an individual split time of 49.79 seconds. Additionally, he contributed to the silver medal-winning men’s 4x200m freestyle relay team, alongside two other talented swimmers from WA.

He then competed in Italy at the Junior World Championships, participating in the 10km open water event and the thrilling 3km knockout sprint. His impressive performances earned him a 19th place finish in the 18-19 age category of the 10km race and a 15th place overall out of 60 in the 3km sprint.

Congratulations Xavier, on your outstanding performances and for making our community proud.
