Middle Years

Hello Middle Years Families! What an exciting 4th term we are having already. We have our last 5 week block of swimming, which is wonderful with us coming into the warmer weather. We also have the Move-a-thon coming up which we are all very excited about. Each class will choose an activity that they would like to participate in and be a part of with the rest of the Middle Years and Senior Years. There will be some teamwork involved as well as individualised efforts which will be encouraged and praised for both. 

Middle Years have also got the opportunity to support their school curriculum by going to the Werribee Zoo in November. An exciting time to meet many different animals on a walking tour around the Werribee Zoo as well as a sensory, hands-on experience in a 30 minute lesson learning about different animals, what they eat, their habitat, how they regulate their temperature, what the zoo does with their 'poop' etc. 

As well as our Middle Years Assemblies that you are very welcome to be apart of, we are looking forward to the very special Grade 6 Graduation nearing the end of the year. This is a time to celebrate and acknowledge students who have turned age 12 this year by participating in HVS Graduation. Families of these students will be invited to come along on Friday the 13th of December to be a part of the celebrations.
