Year 9 Fashion Design Students

Year 9 Fashion students explore how the art of Fashion Illustration communicates fashion and design ideas in a visual form.

Students develop technical Fashion Figure Illustrations which exaggerate the human form. For instance, the 10-head female figure has been the standard elongated proportion for female figures, and the over emphasis of drawing shoulders for a male figure.

Students also apply mixed media, such as Watercolour Paint, Oil Pastels and Collage to render, enhance and refine their Illustrations.
