Staffing Update

At the end of 2023 we say farewell to our Year 1/2 Teacher, Miss Kayla Barnes and our Year 5/6 Teacher, Mr Alen Galic. Both have new teaching positions, and we wish them all the best at their new jobs and thank them for their support and dedication to the students and school this year. 

Mrs Caitlin Hogan will also be leaving to start her teaching career at Merredin College. Caitlin has been with MDHS since 2017, and will be sorely missed, however, we hope she succeeds in her new teaching career.

Mrs Kaye Louwen has worked as a relief teacher for the past four years and then taught our Secondary and Upper Primary students various Home Economic skills this past semester. We wish her all the best with her move to Kalgoorlie, where she will be closer to her children and grandchildren.

We once again say goodbye to Mr Tino Alberti who stepped in as the Year 3/4 Teacher in Term 4. He is a valuable asset to the school with a wealth of knowledge and the students and staff have loved his engaging demeanor. We appreciate him stepping into the role at short notice! 

We are very excited to introduce three new teachers who will be commencing at MDHS in 2024!  We look forward to the year ahead!
