Victorian President's Report

It is truly hard to fathom that the school year is only a week away from drawing to a close.  I wish to take opportunity to congratulate school leaders for not only enduring and navigating the challenges faced but for continuing to maintain high hope and optimism.  We congratulate you on a remarkable year of leadership and dedication and there is no doubt that your unwavering commitment continues to make a lasting impact on your respective school communities.

I would also like to thank and acknowledge the commitment and hard work of the APF team who continue to serve our members with dedication and unwavering commitment.  From our Industrial Officer to our advisors, Executive Officer Jenna, Executive team, State and Federal Councillors, I thank you for your continued advocacy and support of the Federation.  Your dedication and commitment to the APF has been the driving force behind our collective success and achievements. 

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to all our sponsors and partners for their generous support and patronage.  We are profoundly thankful for your partnership and look forward to continuing our association next year.

As this is the last newsletter for the year, it is only fitting that the opportunity is taken to farewell Mark Arkinstall as he embarks upon a new chapter beyond his role as APF Industrial Officer. On behalf of all who have had the pleasure of knowing, engaging and working with Mark, I wish to express our deepest gratitude for the invaluable contributions he has made over his long affiliation and tenure with the APF – as a member, councillor and employee. Mark’s dedication, passion and exceptional work have left an indelible mark on our organisation. 

Beyond the tangible accomplishments, it is Mark’s collaborative spirit and devotion to serving and helping members that will be greatly missed. His departure creates a void that is challenging to fill, however, we know that he will stay connected with the APF. We wish Mark the very best in all of his future endeavours that retirement has to offer and thank him for being an exceptional colleague and a true asset to our organisation.

As we reflect on the year’s accomplishments, let’s look forward to even greater achievements in the year ahead.  Wishing you all a well-deserved break and enjoyable time over the holiday period.
