What's Happening at CHPS

Sick Bay

Just a reminder, as the pollen count keeps creeping up, that children who are susceptible to hay fever should receive a dose of their antihistamine before school.

We are also currently in Thunderstorm Asthma Season, so please ensure any preventative medications are kept up to date and remind your child to use their Ventolin prior to any trigger events, such as sport.

Food For Families

CHPS is proud to again partner with Uniting for this year's Food For Families Christmas Appeal.

Food For Families collects non-perishable food items like canned soup, packets of pasta and baked beans, as well as household essential items including personal hygiene and cleaning products to support those who need it most.

Food For Families is a great way to get together and offer practical support to those who have fallen on trying times, a way to spread Christmas cheer and ease the pressure for struggling families at a very expensive time.

Food, gifts and household essentials are distributed at emergency relief programs, family services and outreach centres across Victoria and Tasmania.  Families can select food from Uniting's food pantry when times get tough and bills stack up.  Food for Families also provides food that’s easy to prepare for people experiencing homelessness or sleeping rough.  With millions of Australians currently living in poverty and many more experiencing cost of living stress, the need is greater than ever.

From Monday there will be collection boxes set up in our main foyer, where you can drop donations.  We thank you for supporting this wonderful cause 😊

Smile Squad 6-month Fluoride Varnish Visit

The EACH Smile Squad team are heading back to our school to complete six-monthly fluoride varnish applications for those students who have provided consent. Fluoride varnish applications help make sure students have the best chance of preventing tooth decay, so we’re excited Smile Squad are coming back.

Consent for this fluoride varnish application was provided when students’ initial consent forms were returned. However, if anyone has changed their mind and do not wish to receive a fluoride varnish application, they can contact EACH directly to let them know. Please contact the Smile Squad team via:
