From the

Acting Assistant Principal

Greetings everyone,

On Thursday 16 November I had the pleasure of walking to Stud Park Shopping Centre with the choir. They had rehearsed 3 songs to be sung at the K-mart Wishing Tree and were very excited at the prospect. Prior to the walk we all met in the library. Without any prompting at all, they all started singing, they sounded fabulous. Mr Birnie also gave them a last-minute run through of a song and actions and away we went.

They conducted themselves very well on the way to and from the shopping centre and were warmly greeted by the K-Mart staff and the representative from the Salvation Army.

It was a lovely way to start the morning and the children were rewarded with a present from Santa. It provided a great community feel and demonstrated the considerable talent that lies within Rowville Primary School!

On an operational note, I would like to reiterate the importance of hat wearing and ask for your help to ensure that your child has a hat for school every day! Thanks, in anticipation.

Only a couple of weeks to go – not many shopping days left. Have a great lead up to Christmas.

Until the next newsletter.
