HSIE

This term, students in Year 7 have immersed themselves in the rich histories of Ancient China and Rome, discovering the societal marvels that shaped the great civilizations. In Year 8, students journeyed to Japan under the Shogun, unravelling the unique blend of tradition and innovation during this era. This culminated in the annual, highly anticipated Samurai armour challenge.

Year 9 students have been learning about the world's biggest cities and the challenges and benefits of living there. They are currently designing their own sustainable cities to overcome these challenges. Year 10 have investigated global and national wellbeing, focusing on the factors that influence quality of life around the world. After returning from work experience, they have been exploring their own personal wellbeing focusing on their individual strengths, connections, gratitude and resilience.

Year 11 have now commenced the HSC courses in Modern History, Ancient History, Legal Studies, Geography, Society and Culture and Business Studies. Teachers are encouraging students to develop and maintain consistent revision routines to ensure their success in next year's HSC.
