Year 4/5 & 5/6

Term 4, 2023

What a huge term we've had! We are so proud of the students and how they have carried themselves this term. It's been a super-busy few weeks with a CFA Bushfire Safety Talk, the spectacular Whole School Concert at the Arena, step up days, high school transition days, the year 6 graduation celebration to name some of them! We have finished off our year with some fun Christmas activities, such as designing the ugliest Christmas jumper!

CFA Visit

On Friday the 24th of November, Brett from Modewarre CFA visited the school to talk to students about bushfire safety. Students asked lots of questions and had the opportunity to try on some of the safety gear and get up close to the truck and fire equipment.

School Concert

What a night! The students were absolutely amazing in their performance. Our grade 4 students performed famous Beatles tunes, with the 5/6s performing music from the movie Pitch Perfect. The students had a blast (and even the teachers seemed like they had a bit of fun up there too!)

Year 7 Orientation & MPS step-up days

Over the last couple of weeks, students have learned where they will be next year and who their classmates are. Year 6s have met their new classmates at their new high schools. They are going to Surf Coast, Grovedale, Sacred Heart, Clonard, Lutheran, Iona.
