Moriac Sport/PE

Term 4 wrap up!

In the last few weeks of PE the students have played some Christmas games, including Decorate the Christmas Tree where they use equipment one at a time to 'decorate' a student who is standing as a Christmas tree. They all loved this one! Another team favourite was The Reindeers and The Grinch, where students had to avoid being caught by the 'Grinches' as they ran to Santa's Grotto at the North Pole.

Students have also enjoyed some 'free choice' time, where they were able to choose the equipment they wished to use with a partner or group. The students love doing this at the end of the term and the year as they get the opportunity to use equipment we don't always use frequently in PE sessions as well as having a say in what games/ activities they play.

The P-2s finished the term off with their netball skills and our 1/2 students were able to get a game simulation happening which was amazing and so good to see their skills develop!

The 3-6s finished off with some Bocce and bowls which was a nice slow, quiet game that was enjoyed by most and allowed for plenty of socialisation!

It has been amazing to see the student's PE skills improve over the year, participation levels have been high and enjoyment levels through the roof! Well done everyone!

Colour Run

A massive thank you to everyone for your participation in our Colour Run today! It was such an epic day and a great fundraiser for our school! It was amazing to see everyone's colourful outfits by the end of the day! A reminder that the prizes close TODAY and will be sent early next year! Well done everyone!
