Speech Night

Congratulations to our amazing Speech Night musicians who showcased their musical prowess on Tuesday night! Your performances captivated the audience and demonstrated the power of music to inspire, uplift and unite. Bravo to each of you for sharing your gifts and contributing to the vibrant cultural tapestry of our school community.

Alumni Musicians and CC Staff

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Old Collegians, Sophia Buchanan (2021), Ella Craddock (2021) and Ava Gilbert (2022) who performed with our students at Speech Night on Tuesday evening. You presence not only inspires our students but also serves as a testament to the strong connections that are made between alumni and our music team. Thank you for being shining examples of the positive impact that a strong, supportive alumni network can have on the educational journey of our students.

We also give sincere thanks to our Clayfield Specialist Tutors, Emily Francis (violin), Sarah Dietz (violin), Lynne Backstorm (cello), Andrea Sitas (bass) and for our guest performers, Clare Challender (clarinet) and Elena Katahanas (horn) for your time and expertise which enhanced the musical experience for our students. Your commitment to nurturing the musical abilities of our students is commendable and your presence and performance were truly appreciated.

Special thanks to our Specialist Piano Tutor, Christian Gante, who played the dazzling QPAC Pipe Organ with such ease and precision. Christian received a very loud cheer from our students at the end of his extraordinary recessional on the night!

LUX 2023

We were absolutely thrilled to see the Clayfield community shining bright at the LUX 23 exhibition, despite an early evening storm. Old Collegians, current and future families, and our supporters joined forces to celebrate Visual and Performing Arts at Clayfield.

The night featured impressive displays by our Visual Art students and lively performances in music, dance and drama. Kudos to our Creative Arts and Languages team for a stellar showcase of imagination and talent!
