Dressed for Success

Last week, our VCE VM class had their Dress for Success interviews, assisted by Polly Britten from Highlands LLEN, who provided the clothing, make-up and even hairstyling tips. Students were encouraged to dress up in professional attire, apply their make -up and style their hair. The aim of the session was to give students a first hand look at how to prepare for a job interview.

Once dressed and styled, students participated in mock-interviews, which provided a great opportunity for the students to assess their interview skills and make adjustments, before they head out into the workforce and undergo real interviews. It also highlighted the need for interviewees to present in a professional manner, in accordance with the position on offer.

The students put in an awesome effort, getting involved and giving it their best shot. Thanks to VCE VM coordinator Anne Henry, Polly Britten from Highlands LLEN and the rest of the crew, who helped organise the event or were in attendance on the day.
