Year 9 Media Explore Black & White Film Photography Techniques 

Year 9 Media students have been exploring various film techniques in their Term 3 Photography CAT. Students have looked at the history of some of the world’s first cameras ever made before some shooting on either point and shoot cameras. Some students have experimented using a Pentax K 1000 Camera shooting portraits on black and white film.

With some students exploring themes of light and dark in their shoot, others chose to capture textures, emotions, and lines in their images. Overall, year 9s have been experimenting with different digital editing techniques using photo editing platforms such as Adobe Photoshop as well as Photopea to manipulate images. 

All Year 9 Medai students will present some of their selected works in the up-and-coming Art exhibition in Term 4.
