Year 8 La Trobe Excursion

On Wednesday 23rd and 30th of August the year 8’s attended La Trobe University to undertake a Science workshop in making their own shampoo. Students were introduced to concepts of pH, raw materials, the role of preservatives and the manufacturing of products.  

Students enjoyed the experience of being on campus and the atmosphere of the busy Agora. Student groups also participated in workshops focusing on future planning and problem solving as well as what makes a SMART goal and achievements in their lives.
