Deputy Principal's
Report - Years 8, 10, 12
Year 12 - 2023
Congratulations on reaching this fantastic milestone of the HSC and completing 13 years of formal schooling. Over the past twelve months I have had the opportunity to support you in a Deputy role and I have enjoyed watching you develop into the fine young adults you are today as you exit the Henry Kendall High School gates for the very last time. I am sure for a lot of you it only seems like yesterday when you walked into Henry Kendall High with the excitement of something new but also nervous of what would lie ahead.
I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the people that have played a huge part in your educational journey. To Mrs James your dedicated Deputy who worked tirelessly to provide a safe and supportive environment. She always had time for each of you and listened to all your ideas and most importantly was always an advocate for you in all areas of your life. Thank you Mrs James.
A huge thank you must also go to your Year Advisers that supported you through your educational journey.
To Mr Reece, who was here for you when you first started in transition from Year 6 to Year 7 and 8. He supported you through your Year 7 Camp and rewards days and was a positive sounding board in the initial phases.
As you moved into Year 9, Miss Sexty took on the role as Year Adviser and created some positive connections through the challenges of Year 9.
Year 10, Miss Hammond played a vital role in supporting you through some challenging times. Subject selections, navigating friendships and learning about the Henry Kendall High School way. Miss Hammond was always there to offer advice and to help you through the COVID years.
Finally, Miss Fitzgerald who has taken the reigns through your Stage 6 journey and has been a supportive figure as you face the challenges of the HSC. Miss Fitzgerald has been there for your year meetings, Assessment support, Bunnings BBQ’s, Year 12 Graduation and Formal Preparation and always been there offering guidance through Year 12.
As your Deputy over the past 12 months, I have watched you become such wonderful ambassadors for our school community. Good luck in your HSC and I wish you all the best for the future
