Student Leaders Investiture

Our 2023 School Leaders Investiture was held on Wednesday 6 September 2023. This was an occasion for the school community to induct and celebrate our elected School Captains, Prefects, and Student Representative Council. It is also a special time to focus on the wonderful contributions made to our school by the Representative Team of 2023. 

 

We are again fortunate in the calibre, integrity, motivation and character of our student leaders, as we have been in throughout 2023. Year 8 - Tycen Bedford, Anuj Bhatt, Emeliana Kimber, Henry McGavin and Samuel Whight. Year 9 - Jhalaena Butao, Lillian Pech, Dolma Tentso and Charlie Willcox. Year 10 - Lily Arendse, Elliot Hollas, Caleb Perkins and Angus Potter. Year 11 - Iona Jeannot, Amelia Stevens, Ava Trundle and Patrick Wenban. Special Education - Faith Drylie and Charlotte Gott.

We would like to acknowledge our school leaders of 2023, and in particular our Captains – Vesna and Lachlan, Vice Captains – Larna and Alex, and Prefects - Max, Skyla, Fletcher, Samantha and Jessica. The school leadership team of the past twelve months have been outstanding ambassadors for not only the student body, but for Henry Kendall High School. We thank you for your dedication, your integrity and your humour as a group of people. You have had a tangible influence on our school culture, always providing a positive and proactive outlook, and it has been a privilege to work with you. 

We would like to congratulate our incoming Student Representative Council. Year 8 - Alexis Carta, Kira Norman, Georgia Peritsch and Dylan Sweeney. Year 9 - Tycen Bedford, Anuj Bhatt, Olivia Doan, Sairsha Jagger, Emeliana Kimber and Henry McGavin. Year 10 - Elise Bell, Jhalaena Butao, Maxwell Gross and Dolma Tentso. Year 11 - Sydney Andrews, Lily Arendse, Ethan Hull, Pavani Pathak, Caleb Perkins and Angus Potter. Special Education - Emily Andrews, Jet Black and Jared Rosenkovitz

 

We congratulate our student leaders elect for 2023; Captains - Ava and Utsav; and Prefects -  Iona, Amelia and Millie. You will make an outstanding leadership contribution, and each of you have been elected to these important positions because you have the potential, traits, and abilities that your peers and the staff have recognised in you. Your contribution over the next twelve months will be rewarding on many levels.
