Important Information: Notification of student absence using Compass
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Students develop good habits by going to school every day – habits that are necessary to succeed after school, whether in the workplace or in further study.
All Victorian Government Schools must contact parents/guardians as soon as possible on the same-day of an unexplained student absences.
If your child is marked absent without notification, you can expect to receive an SMS notifying you of your child’s absence at 9.30am.
Please notify the school if you have changed your contact details. These details should be updated in case of an emergency or if your child is absent from school. If the school is unable to contact parents, the emergency contacts will be notified until we are able to contact the parents/guardians.
Please do not hesitate to contact the school should you require further assistance.
