State Athletics Carnival

Dylan, Felicity and Chelsea recently represented Anson Street School and Western Region at the NSW Secondary Schools Athletics Championships at the State Athletics Centre at Homebush. 

Competing in the multi-class section, they all displayed tremendous sportsmanship, gave their best efforts in all their events and achieved outstanding results.

Felicity - 200m (7th), Discus (9th), Long Jump (equal 9th)

Chelsea - 200m (9th), 100m (10th), Shot Put (12th)

Dylan - 200m (11th), Long Jump (7th), Shot Put (6th), 100m (10th), Discus (8th)

Tremendous effort. Well done to you all!

School Sports Unit Multi-Sport Day

45 primary and secondary students attended the School Sports Unit Multi-Sports day at the PCYC on Wednesday 13th September. These days are fun and inclusive of all disabilities, with sports modified and adapted to suits the needs of students.  A number of different sports including, rugby league, netball, golf, hockey, AFL and boccia were on offer with students rotating around the different sports in a tabloid set-up. Students and staff had a tremendous time and enjoyed the different sports on offer. 

Term 4 Sport

Permission notes have been sent home for term 4 sport. Please return these ASAP as sport will commence in Week 1 of Term 4 on Wednesday 11th October.
