Cross Campus Connections

Along with our Book Parade last week, our students have enjoyed opportunities across both campuses. See below for some of the activities students have participated in over the last two weeks.

Prep Adventures in the Errol Street Garden

The Preps went back to Errol Street Campus for gardening with Ms. Tess to go on an insect hunt! We looked through tubs of worms who work hard to turn our scraps into compost and learned they like to live in damp, dark environments. The worms were a bit slimy and one worm even ended up on somebody’s shoe! After learning about them at Errol Street, we made some "beds" out of torn up newspaper for new composting worms that are coming to live at our Molesworth Street Campus.

Year 6 Buddies

Students have participated in their last Book Parade. Students also visited the new Molesworth Campus up close when reading with their prep buddies. It was wonderful to see the positive and caring interactions between young and (not so) old.
