We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who celebrated with us Crazy Hair & Sock Day on Friday, 25 August. Your participation and enthusiasm made this event a truly unforgettable day, and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing support in making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Crazy Hair & Sock Day was an absolute blast, and we were amazed by the creative hairstyles and funky sock combinations that adorned our school campus. Your willingness to embrace the spirit of the event not only brought joy to our school community but also contributed to something truly meaningful. We are proud to announce that through your generous donations, we raised funds to support two incredibly important initiatives: the Kids’ Cancer Project and the Charitable Works Fund (CWF).
The Kids Cancer Project is on a mission that resonates deeply with our shared values. Their unwavering dedication to ensuring a one hundred per cent survival rate for children with cancer is truly inspiring. They also strive to minimise the challenging impacts of cancer treatment, embodying compassion and hope in their work.
Equally close to our hearts is the Charitable Works Fund, which continues to make a profound difference in the lives of those who are most vulnerable in our Sydney community. Through their support of organisations like the Aboriginal Catholic Ministry, aiding the homeless, assisting individuals facing mental health challenges, providing for the deaf and hard of hearing, and seminarians and catechists, the CWF embodies the spirit of giving and kindness.
Your contribution of a $2 Gold Coin donation on the out-of-uniform day has a far-reaching impact that extends well beyond the confines of our school. Once again, thank you for your incredible spirit, generosity, and commitment to making a positive change in the world.
As our Year 12 students prepare to take their next steps beyond these halls, we will have the opportunity to gather as a cohort at the Year 12 Retreat. The retreat centred around the theme of ‘Courage’ will provide students with the opportunity to:
