A visit from the Toy Man

This Term our Year 1/2 students have been learning about 'Forces' in our Inquiry Unit. This interesting topic is explored further and applied to our growing understanding of toys and technology. Students had the opportunity to play with, manipulate and use different types of toys as a small group, identifying the different forces that allow them to move. By examining push and pull movement, students could see forces in action and have fun while understanding the way things work.

Aladin et la lampe magique - French Puppet Show

On Monday 7 August, our Junior School students from both campuses had the opportunity to watch a bilingual French/English interactive puppet show.

The Carousel Theatre, which came especially to us from Melbourne, gave our students the opportunity to enjoy and understand the diversity of culture and tradition around the world through the bilingual French/English interactive show of "Aladin et la lampe magique." The students had an exceptional experience of participating and using their language skills with no inhibitions.
