From the Library

Book Week is almost here!

CBCA Book Week is Read, Grow, Inspire this week!

Book Week is here and we are excited by the buzz that is happening around the school.

Home Groups are decorating their classroom doors and having fun with Home Group challenges.

Lunch times in the Library have been busy with Junior Students engaging in craft based activities and Middle and Senior Students challenging themselves with word games and scavenger hunts.

We can’t wait until Thursday (South Plympton) and Friday (Brooklyn Park) to see all the amazing book characters that come to school. Please remember this is a dress-up day not a casual day. If students don’t want to participate they must come in normal school uniform. We are continuing to raise money for the Pitjantjatjara Bible Bike Ride for a Children’s Bible through our dress-up day.

We look forward to sharing some amazing photos with you in the next Newsletter.

DRESS UP DAY 🪙 Gold Coin Donation 🪙

Thursday 24 August for South Plympton Campus F - 12

Friday 25 August for Brooklyn Park Campus ELC - 6

Students and Staff of all ages are invited to dress up as their favourite book character and support the Pitjantjatjara Bible Bike Ride fundraiser with a gold coin donation.

Dress up Guidelines:

  1. Dress up as an identifiable book character - we encourage students to bring the book or a copy of the cover with them on the day.
  2. Normal casual day school guidelines apply
  3. Be creative with your costumes. We encourage you to make your costumes at home using items you already have around the house. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on costumes.
