What: Walk-a-thon and Fete

When: Wednesday 22nd November

Where: Miners Rest Primary School

Time: Walk-a-thon 9:15am-11:15am   Fete: 1:30pm-3:00pm

Walk-a-thon Theme: Dress as a Movie or TV character

Walkathon sponsorship cards will be coming home with students tonight. Please ask sponsors to complete their details and amount donated on the card. Although we would love to raise a significant amount of money again this year, please only seek support from family and friends. Door knocking and approaching strangers by students is not encouraged. Any monies raised should be returned to school along with the completed sponsor form before Friday November 24.

A reminder that we warmly invite all family and community members to dress up – Movie or TV character theme, and join with the students to walk from 9.15 – 11.15.

A coffee van will be available during this time and for the duration of the fete for the purchase of hot and cold drinks.

Fete

Following the Walkathon, the fete will commence at 1.30pm and conclude at 3pm. The students are eagerly preparing for their stalls. If you are able to donate any of the items in the table below, it would be greatly appreciated. Families wishing to take students home before 3.20pm on the day must see the classroom teacher to be marked off and complete the usual early dismissal procedures at the front office.
