Student Care and Wellbeing

October - Mental Health Month

Our first Mental Health Month BBQ breakfast was on last Thursday.

Students were encouraged to identify what they do to relax with responses ranging from sleeping, music, hanging out with friends to fishing and hunting.

Our BBQ breakfasts will continue Thursday mornings for the remainder of October in acknowledgment of Mental Health Month.

Mercy Day Celebrations

Term 3 saw us celebrate Mercy Day with Year 12 coordinating some fun activities for the student body.

Students belted out some karaoke, busted some dance moves, competed in tug-o-war and played some dodge ball and touch.

How often does your family talk about how people use their devices? And I don't mean yelling, "get off your phone!" or, "if you don't get off your tablet RIGHT NOW..."This week's short video is practical and important!

If you don't have a family tech agreement in your family then this is a must watch...

WE HAVE EVEN MADE YOU A TEMPLATE TO GUIDE THE DISCUSSION - you can get it HERE! Enjoy!

PS. Lots of parents report pulling out their hair when it comes to kids device use. So why don't you send this to your spouse, friend or hairdresser! People can click this LINK to sign up to these emails delivered straight to their inbox.

NO JUNK - just helpful short videos. Can we also ask you to please like, comment and subscribe on youtube? It can really help us get this important message out.
