Victorian Education Excellence Awards

The awards provide opportunity to celebrate the achievements of individuals and teams across the government school sector, who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and achievement.

We take a moment to celebrate the immense achievements of several of our members who are the recipients of either an  individual or team award in the respective categories: 

Lindsay Thomspon Excellence in Education –  Congratulations to Debrah Harman and the Learning and Teaching Team at Balwyn High School.  Receiving this award acknowledges the outstanding  and comprehensive High-Ability Learning Program that has been developed by the team at Balwyn High and is available to all students at the school. 

Colin Simpson Outstanding Secondary Principal – Congratulations to Kimberley Tempest, Cobram Secondary School.  This award is very dear to the APF with Colin Simpson having served with dedication as an elected member of our APF Victorian State Council.  It is only fitting that a current APF State Councillor have the great honour of being presented with this award. We are immensely proud and congratulate Kimberley on the innovation, excellence and opportunity she is delivering for students in rural Victoria.

Outstanding Koorie Education Team – Congratulations to Jodie Walters, Principal at Swan Hill Specialist School and the School Inclusion Team who have underaken a siginficant journey to acknowledge and embed the local Wemba Wemba culture at the school.
