Victorian President's Report

We extend our thanks and appreciation to all who took time out from their busy schedule to attend the APF Annual General Meeting and Seminar last Friday.  This is particularly noted and acknowledged as World Teacher’s Day was also celebrated on this day.

The event was extremely well attended and provided a platform for interactive learning, facilitation of networking and provision of a dynamic environment for engagement and discussion.  The speakers certainly did not disappoint, with many expressing gratitude for the span of speaker expertise and experience which ranged from various vocations – educator (Steve Francis), learner (Hassan Nur Hussein) and Chris Connolly (AFL player and coach).   A copy of Steve’s presentation is available on the APF website, together with Chris’ ten top tips for successful leadership.

We also take opportunity to thank our partners and sponsors for all their support and for assisting to make the day such a success.  The teams at TheirCare and Free Agency have been long-time friends and supporters of the APF and we are ever so grateful for their ongoing involvement and association with our organisation.  This year we have seen the onboarding of two new sponsors,  Maxxia and Woo Agency and we encourage you to reach out and utilise their services and expertise.
