Hello everyone,
The final part of the year has involved learning about The Little Red Hen – “La Gallinella Rossa.”
The students became familiar with the English version of this traditional tale before hearing the story in Italian. In the story some familiar Italian words were recognized such as “cat – gatto” and “cane – dog.”
They used the text to learn the story sequence and put in in order.
The students also played “Heads Down, Thumbs Up” – “Testa giu, police su” and this involved using repeated familiar language.
