CYBERSAFETY & CHILD SAFETY

Online safety basics

Help your children safely navigate their digital world and educate them to avoid harmful online experiences. Explore websites, games, apps and social media together and set some rules.

Your support and guidance can give your children the confidence to make sound decisions online – and ask for help when they need it.

Three key strategies

1. Be engaged, open and supportive

2. Set some rules

3. Use technology and get information

To see further information that expands on each of these three categories and advice for different age groups, please go to the eSafety Commissioners website by clicking here

DONATIONS WANTED

TOYS, LEGO, PUZZLES

Camp Australia are welcoming donations of any good condition, clean, unwanted construction toys, Lego or puzzles.

Please run it passed the OSHC educators first. Come and visit the gym foyer next to Café before or after school if you would like to donate and speak to Nicole (co-ordinator).

A HELPING HAND

Camp Australia (OSHC) at BHCS will be regularly donating supplies to the Dandenong Ranges Emergency Relief Service Inc. (DRERS). Due to the tough economic climate, we're aiming to provide supermarket goods, long-lasting food, and packaged items to the Belgrave Community Hub.

If you'd like to contribute, feel free to drop by OSHC in the gym foyer during Before or After School Care times. You can find us between the canteen and cafe in the MPH Foyer. The top three items DRERS currently need are: shampoo, long-life milk, and coffee. Website: DRERS

Thank you,

Nicole -OSHC Coordinator
