This week, 1C and 1D attended the final part of the online safety incursion, “Ollie Online.”
It was filled with songs, fun, and most importantly, plenty of learning strategies to help ensure we stay safe and healthy online!
The “Ollie Online” 2024 incursion program offered four exciting and interactive events throughout the year, focusing on essential life skills. One of the key topics was promoting healthy digital habits, where students learned to balance screen time with outdoor "green time," understand the importance of sleep, and explore fun strategies to manage their time on devices. These engaging sessions provided a dynamic, hands-on learning experience that helped students develop healthier routines in a fun and supportive environment.
A big thank you to Ms Spencer for organising this wonderful program for our school!
In Maths students loved learning about patterns! We used a lot of hands on materials as well as the iPads to create our own patterns. We then learnt how to correctly label our patterns, and follow a sequence to invent our own!
