Tell Them From Me - Parent Survey
This Term, our school will be participating in the Partners in Learning parent survey, another part of the Tell Them From Me suite of surveys (student, teacher and parent surveys) on student engagement. The survey asks parents and carers questions about different factors that are known to impact on student wellbeing and engagement.
Running this survey will help our school understand parents’ and carers’ perspectives on their child’s experience at school. These include: communication between parents/carers and staff, activities and practices at home and parent/carer views on the school's support of learning and behaviour. This valuable feedback will help our school make practical improvements.
The survey is conducted entirely online on smartphones, iPads, tablets, laptops or computers. The survey will typically take 15 minutes or less to complete and is completely confidential. The parent survey will be conducted in early Term 4. Although participating in the survey is entirely voluntary, your responses are very much appreciated.
More information about the survey is available at: education.nsw.gov.au/ttfm
To access the survey for our school go to:

The survey is available in 23 languages.

The moment that we had all been waiting for has come. We thought zone was hard but regionals was next level. I had three races, 800m 1500m and the relay. The first one I had was 1500m. My heart was beating so fast before the race. 5 minutes and 54 seconds later it was finished. All the nerves, GONE. Two hours went past in a flash and all the nerves came back. My head was spinning and the heat was hitting my face. I thought “ final long distance race of the day ” 2 minutes and 54 seconds later, I had sweat pouring down my face. All I had left was the relay. In the relay it was Angela, Eva, Laura and I. I had finished my race and we went straight to training for the relay. Time flew by and it was time. We were in the second heat and we were competing against many schools, including Angela’s old one. We were so close to getting into the finals. We lost by one second. We were really sad, but we beat our zone timing. This was one of the best regionals ever - Sophia K

Supporting the Transition to School Video Series
Starting school is a very exciting time for children. They’ll meet friends, learn new skills and build relationships with their teachers. Almost 90% of a child’s brain development happens before they turn five years old. Skills and behaviours learnt during the early years can help children to have a smooth start to kindergarten and throughout life.
This video series provides practical ideas to help parents, carers, Early Childhood Educators and teachers to support a positive start to school.
