Round 3
Round 3 of the Term 4 season was covered in sunshine and little wind, a rarity for Pedrina Park.
In the Year 3/4 division, our College Rubies had a thrilling game, securing a narrow victory by just one goal. The team displayed remarkable resilience and teamwork, holding strong under pressure and proving that their efforts in training are paying off.
In the Year 5/6 division, our College Sapphires played with grit and determination in a hard-fought game. Despite their tireless effort, Good Shepherd managed to come away with the win this time. The Sapphires never gave up, and their strong spirit on the court continues to be an inspiration.
Our Year 7/8 College Mavericks faced a formidable opponent, going up against the top team in the division. Though the game ended in a loss, the Mavericks showed improvement by scoring more points than in Round 2. Their development is evident, and their hard work is building a strong foundation for future games.
In the Year 9-12 grade division, both the College Vixens and College Thunderbirds delivered impressive performances, each winning by over 15 goals. Their teamwork across different year levels, despite varying levels of experience, is clearly paying off. These early-season successes reflect the dedication and effort they’ve been putting in, and it’s exciting to see their cohesion and confidence grow on the court.
