Peter Craig School Award

Viewbank has once again been honoured with the Peter Craig School Award, a prestigious recognition of the high-quality submissions across various competition categories.

This year, our school’s participation in the Science Talent Search this eve has added another incredible layer to our STEAM program. The initiative is designed to spark a lifelong passion for science by encouraging students to engage in self-directed projects. Students have embraced the challenge, developing their projects independently and presenting them to wider audiences, gaining both recognition and confidence in the process.  

This has definitely shown with 32 of our students securing awards in every category, Major bursaries (1), Minor bursaries (5), Distinctions (12), Merits (13) and Acknowledgements (1). 

These accomplishments reflect not only their talent and effort but also our commitment to fostering a culture of scientific curiosity and excellence.
