Student Free Day | Friday 6th June |
King's Birthday Public Holiday | Monday 9th June |
Year 8 students have had a focused and forward-looking few weeks. During a recent whole school assembly, they were introduced to the subject selection process in preparation for Year 9. This marks an exciting stage as students begin to consider their interests and future pathways. Many have already begun submitting their selections, demonstrating great initiative and planning.
Please note Subject Selections are due before the end of June.
We also introduced Step Up Sessions, which are a new behaviour management strategy. These sessions serve as a structured consequence for students who are repeatedly late, arrive to class without equipment, or engage in ongoing low-level behaviours. The goal is to encourage accountability and reinforce consistent expectations across the year level.
We’re hoping to see positive improvements in the coming weeks as we continue to support our students as they navigate the second half of the year and prepare for the responsibilities of Year 9.
If your student requires stationery or equipment please reach out.
Congratulations to our Year 8 Cross Country and Athletics Age Champions! Their outstanding effort, determination, and consistent performance has earned them this well-deserved recognition. Competing with great sportsmanship and pride, they represented Year 8 with great energy and set a strong example for their peers.
Well done on this fantastic achievement!

Our Year 8 student leaders have been actively engaging in ways to improve the school experience for their peers. After receiving a thoughtful suggestion about providing umbrellas for students to use during wet weather changeovers, they took action and reached out to the community.
Thanks to their initiative and the generosity of Bunnings, who kindly donated the umbrellas, students now have access to shelter during rainy transitions between classes. It’s a fantastic example of student voice leading to real, positive change.
