Principal's Message

A Prayer for Our School Community
Loving God,
Thank You for the gift of our school.
For the laughter and learning of children,
the dedication and guidance of teachers,
and the support and encouragement of families.
Help us to grow together in kindness and respect,
learn with open hearts and curious minds,
and build a community of care and connection.
Amen.
Principal’s Editorial – Celebrating Our Prep Parent Night
Dear School Community,
Prep classrooms came alive this week during our Prep Parent Night, and I’m pleased to share just how special the evening was—not only for our newest students and their families, but as a reflection of the strong, inclusive community that defines our whole school.
These nights are more than just an open classroom—they're a celebration of the partnership between school and home. The joy on our students’ faces as they proudly showed their families their learning spaces, activities, and routines was truly heartwarming. It was a chance for families to step into their child’s world and for us, as educators, to connect more deeply with the people who know them best.
The feedback from parents has been both generous and insightful. Many families spoke about how meaningful it was to gain a clearer picture of what their children experience each day, and how helpful it was to connect with other families:
“Great to meet other parents. Good to see the kids in their learning environment and what they are learning.”
“Food! Mingling with other parents. Getting to know the teacher. Seeing the school teaching methods and environment.”
“Insights into daily learning habits and how parents can reinforce new learnings. Meeting and talking to other parents.”
These comments reflect what we hope to foster across every level of our school—a place where relationships are nurtured, where learning is celebrated, and where families feel part of the journey every step of the way.
A sincere thank you to our Prep and Year 1/2 teaching team and members of the leadership team for their thoughtful planning and warmth, and to our families for your continued support and enthusiasm. Whether you're in Prep or Year 6, these moments of connection are what make our school more than just a place of learning—they make it a community.
Regards
Brian Martin
