Reconciliation Reflection Day

On Friday, the Year 3/4 students participated in a Reconciliation Reflection Day. They rotated through several activities, including making prayer beads for the Our Father, performing role plays of the Prodigal Son, and examining their consciences in preparation for the sacrament.

The students also had the opportunity to listen to Sherry Balcombe, an Olkola/Djabugay woman, who spoke to them about Indigenous spirituality and its connection to the sacrament of Reconciliation.

Throughout the day, the students listened attentively, made meaningful connections, and fully engaged in all activities, demonstrating their readiness to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation.
