Dear Parents/Guardians,
Walk Safely to School Day
Thank you to the students who took up the offer to meet and walk to school last Friday.
Reconciliation Week
Next week is Reconciliation week where we commemorate the significant milestones in the reconciliation journey and encourage all Australians to be involved in the process. The theme for this year is "Bridging Now to Next", which focuses on connecting the past, present, and future, and urging Australians to look ahead and push forward together. We will have students participating in the Reconciliation walk in Echuca and all students will participate in discussions and activities in the classroom.
Cross country
Well done to all students who tried their best at last weeks cross country event in Moama. Thank you to Mr Rasmussen, Mr Irwin & Tobie for organising and supporting our students. Good luck to Orly, Ava, Rylie & Miley who are participating in the Regional Cross Country competition on Tuesday at St Arnaud.
Prep Enrolments
Prep enrolments for 2026 are being accepted. The Department of Education suggests schools encourage families to submit these by the end of this term. If you know of families interested in attending Rochester Primary School in 2026, please encourage them to contact the school.
The Resilience Project Day.
Yesterday all students participated in activities focussed on the 3 Resilience Project pillars proven to cultivate positive emotions: Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness (GEM). It was so much fun!!!
