From the Principal

Welcome back to Term 3 2025!

As you may have noticed there is a fair bit of activity happening around the school - our ramps are now all operational with the final ramp works all completed. Our Gaga Pits and shop fronts are finished with the final landscaping works in process before we open the area up.  We have also removed the original bike shed with this area being transformed into a playspace with the plan being to make this a games area, with games such as noughts and crosses, hopscotch and chess marked on the concrete.

Yesterday we also celebrated the Foundation students 100th day at school! These first 100 days have flown by, but at the same time it is wonderful to see our confident Foundation students who feel like they have been at school for a much longer timeframe than 100 days!

Don't forget to follow us on the socials - Instagram and Facebook for regular updates and photos of the activities we have had happening here at school. This term there have been posts about the 100 days of school, our Year 4 and 5 Kids Helpline sessions, Tree Planting Day, State Cross Country and Science lessons with Deakin Uni - along with many Fiesta updates!

Congratulations to Olive on representing the school at the State Cross County Meet - an amazing achievement to make a state meet! Also to our AFL Inter-school team, who made it through to division where they lost by a point in the final.

Finally, keep an eye out next week for the "Night Under the Stars" (scheduled for the 12th of August) tickets which will go on sale. In the absence of Mr Anthony, Mr Moore will be organising the event, so booking details will be out next week via Compass.

The crossing supervisors have asked us to remind you to drive carefully and slowly around the school, especially on Orchard Grove, as all children's safety is paramount.
