Kindergarten PDH Excursion
On Tuesday, 24th June Kindergarten ventured out of school to explore how the Firies and Police keep us safe in town. Students first walked to the Fire Station and investigated good vs bad fires, rescuing someone from a burning building and tried their hand at fighting a fire themselves. Next, the students walked to the Police Station and watched how our Police handle a riot situation, tried their hand at being locked in a Police car and had their fingerprints dusted. The day was lots of fun and luckily, the rain saved some tired legs with a quick bus trip back to school.
Year 2 Classroom Visit/Parent Assembly
On 27th June, our Year 2 parents/carers visited students in class and then attended assembly. Everyone had a lovely time observing how much the students have learnt this year.
Trampoline Weaving Project on Display at BAMM
We are excited to share that the incredible Trampoline Weaving Project has come to a vibrant and successful end! This collaborative art initiative, led by our Year 5 and 6 students, will now take pride of place on display at the Bank Art Museum Moree (BAMM).
Over the past term, students have worked together to explore the creative process of weaving using the unique framework of a trampoline. Along the way, they learnt new skills in textile art, teamwork, design, and patience — all essential elements of this large-scale installation.
The final result is a stunning and colourful piece that celebrates community, creativity, and the power of collaboration. Every thread woven into the trampoline tells a story of imagination and perseverance.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their effort, enthusiasm, and artistic vision. We invite all families and community members to visit BAMM to view the final piece and celebrate the talents of our young artists.
