Tongerlo Day

Tongerlo Day was celebrated on Wednesday 31 July. During extended Homeroom we were entertained by the Y11 & 12 Tongerlo bands which set the mood for an exciting day ahead.

This year was significant as we were blessed to have our very own ‘Tongerlonian’ Deacon John lead us in the House Liturgy, a first for all. Fr Peter sent an email on the morning with a photo of Trent Boucher, Y7 and Fr Kees at Tongerlo Abbey, Antwerp, Belgium. Trent and his family had visited in their recent travels and we were all so proud that he wore his St Norbert College, Tongerlo House shirt with pride on that day.  The Abbott General and Fr Kees were delighted.

Tongerlo Day is the highlight of our House calendar and we thank Mrs Palermo, Mr Lewis, Tongerlo Captains; Sienna Ambler, Katie Seroney, Talia Cappelluti and Dakota Quinn for their planning of all activities and events throughout the day. The lunch and planned activities were greatly received and a fun day was had by all.
