Preschool Buddy Visit

Year 5 students were very excited to meet some of the preschool students on Wednesday 31 July, and enjoyed helping them to get to know St Xavier's. They shared picture books together, created illustrations and had lots of fun in the playground. Year 5 are looking forward to the next visit!

Lost Property 

Winter often sees an increase in our lost property with jackets and jumpers being taken off at play time. Please remember to put your childs name on their belongings and have them check the lost property basket for their belongings if something is missing. 

School Fees 

Our School Fees have been raised for Term 3.  Please note payment is due by August 31, 2024.

Outstanding achievements outside of school 

Spotlight on Chase Berry  - Year 3, Bull Rider 

Chase rode his first ever bull at Coonamble Rodeo in June 2023. He had had no prior training in bull riding when he first started, but since then he has used his character strengths of perseverance, bravery and love of learning to hone his skills in this area.

He experienced a full circle moment and placed 1st exactly a year later at Coonamble Rodeo 2024 and had a wild ride too!

Career Highlights

• 12th for the National Finals Rodeo in 2024

• 3rd Place at Glen Innes, Manilla, Coonabarabran and Bingara Rodeos

• 3rd Place at K-Ranch PBR last month 

• Just last weekend placed 2nd at Eureka Creek Rodeo in p North Queensland.

Chase is currently ranked 4th Nationally in the u11’s in the ABCRA competition and is currently ranked 6th in the PBR competition for his age group.
