Parkdale Rail Station update

The Parkdale station will be operational from this morning, Friday 2 August 2024. 

Commuters are able to access platform 1 via stairs in the southern entrance on Como Parade West (closest to trading precinct), and both platforms 1 and 2 in the northern entrance, accessible via (Como Parade West and East).

Parkdale Station platform lifts will be available in September. For passengers who require lift access, an accessible taxi will operate from the Parkdale Church of Christ at Parkdale Station to Mentone and Mordialloc Stations. 

MYKI machines will be available for touch on/off and top up only. For MYKI card sales, Parkdale Post, Lotto and Gifts has ample supplies of MYKI’s to purchase.

Pedestrian crossings are available for use at Birdwood Street and Como Parade West and Eighth Street and Como Parade East as well as the temporary pedestrian crossings south of Warrigal and Parker’s Road.
