Parent/Teacher Interviews

Parent/teacher interviews are vital as they foster a collaborative relationship between parents and teachers in supporting a child's educational journey. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss the student's progress, strengths, future directions, and if necessary, attendance.

On Thursday, 1st August parents and families were presented with the opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with their child's teacher. It was wonderful to walk around the school and see the many conversations taking place from Preschool to Year 6.

Thank you to the parents who attended and those that took the time to answer questions relating to the changes to the Semester 1 Student Progress and Attendance Reports. This data will assist us to fine tune these reports for the end of the year.

A reminder that families are welcome to contact their child's teachers at any time to arrange an interview outside of formal scheduled Parent/teacher Interview times.

Education Week - Open Classrooms

On Tuesday, 6th August we opened our wonderful school up to our community. Parents and families spent time in classrooms observing the learning that takes place every day.

A huge thank you to the P&C for providing a delicious morning tea for our visitors to enjoy. Public Education in New South Wales provides all children, regardless of their socioeconomic background, with access to quality education. St Johns Park is a proud public school that takes pride in the opportunities we provide our students on daily basis.
