Bullying No Way National Day of Action

In 2024 The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence has expanded into a week-long initiative, 12th to 16th August, now known as Bullying No Way – National Week of Action

This year’s theme is ‘Everyone Belongs.’ Belonging keeps us connected and is a powerful protection against bullying. When we all feel like we belong, bullying struggles to find a place.

Belonging means that we all have a role in preventing bullying. We’re encouraged to speak up and create a safe place where everyone feels supported and respected, and our voices are heard and valued.

The hero colour has changed from orange to purple to represent Bullying No Way Week. Purple represents peace, strength and empowerment, with bold tones signifying a firm stand against bullying behaviour.

The 5 focus areas for this week are:

Monday - Challenge Stereotypes

Tuesday - Promote Empathy

Wednesday - Embrace Diversity

Thursday - Foster Positive Relationships

Friday - Provide Support
