St Margaret Mary’s Gala Days

In Term Two, we experienced three soccer gala days - stage 2 and stage 3. I would like to thank the teachers who have given up their time to help coach and train these teams before school and work behind the scenes to ensure that the day runs smoothly. 

Thank you to:

Stage 2 - Mrs Mary Chetty and Mrs Kellie Foley for coaching the teams and to Mr Daniel Maunick, Miss Jessica Azar and Miss Carol-Ann Essey who accompanied the students on the day of the carnival.

Stage 3 girls - Mr Daniel Maunick and Mr Tim Greaney, along with Mrs Haifa Rizk accompanying on the day of the carnival.

Stage 3 boys - Mrs Mary Chetty and Mrs Kellie Foley, along with Mrs Haifa Rizk accompanying on the day of the carnival.

Thank you also to the parents who came along and cheered for our teams your support and assistance on these days is appreciated.

This term, we have our netball gala day (senior girls, senior boys and junior mixed 8, 9, 10 years teams) as well as our stage 2 touch football gala day. Trials for both these gala days will happen early in term 3, with netball beginning on Wednesday 31 July (Wednesday and Friday). Parents will be notified via compass when the trials are on.

Reminder If any student still has one of our representative shirts that was used for the Soccer Gala Days or boots/socks that were borrowed, please be returned to Mrs Foley by Friday 2 August 2024, as we need to get them out for the Cumberland Zone Athletics Carnival in early term 3.
