Grandparents Day

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the families, especially our grandparents, for joining us in the celebration of the Feast of St. Anne and St. Joachim. Your presence not only honoured the legacy of Jesus' grandparents but also highlights the vital role that grandparents play in the faith journey of our children. Grandparents provide wisdom, love, and guidance, nurturing the seeds of faith that help shape the spiritual lives of the next generation. Thank you for your continued support and for being such an integral part of our community.

Feast of St. Mary MacKillop

You are all warmly invited to join us in celebrating the Feast of St. Mary MacKillop on Thursday, 8 August 2024, at 8:40 am, this liturgy will be hosted by our Year One and Year Two children. St. Mary MacKillop, Australia's first saint, is a pivotal figure in our nation's history and a beacon of inspiration for Catholic education. Her tireless efforts to provide education to underprivileged and rural children have left a mark on our society. In this liturgy, we celebrate her legacy and reaffirm our commitment to the values she championed. I look forward to your presence as we come together to celebrate her enduring influence on our faith and educational community.

Feast of the Assumption

We are soon approaching a significant feast and day of holy obligation in our Church calendar. On Thursday, August 15, at 12:00 pm you are invited to join us for our whole school and parish Mass celebrating the Feast of the Assumption. This important feast commemorates the belief that Mary, the Mother of God, was taken up into heaven, body and soul, at the end of her earthly life. The Assumption is a profound reminder of the dignity of human life and the hope of eternal life that we all share. It is an opportunity for our school community to come together in prayer and reflection, celebrating Mary’s role as a model of faith and devotion.
